Founded in 2015 by musician and writer Leo Crabtree, BeauFort London draws its name from the Beaufort wind scale — a fitting emblem for fragrances built on the force of storms and the unpredictability of the sea. Inspired by Britain's maritime history, both real and imagined, each scent collages themes of warfare, exploration and trade into dark, uncompromising compositions.

Crafted in collaboration with acclaimed British perfumers, BeauFort London favours smoke, wood, leather and incense at unapologetic intensity. This is perfumery as storytelling — history carried fleetingly on the wind.
